Support the Saluting Battery

Fondazzjoni Wirt Artna - the Malta Heritage Trust is a voluntary non-governmental organisation that cares for over 40 cultural heritage sites and monuments in Malta. It also runs four museums. All of this is achieved through a combination of paid staff and voluntary services offered by its members. 

All its funding is self-raised through gate-money, individual contributions, sale of merchandise and sponsorships.

Running the Saluting Battery on a daily basis as we do is an expensive experience. Our daily firing of the Noon-day gun costs an average of €200 on its own. To be able to maintain this age-old tradition for long we need your support. There are different ways how you can help. You may wish to become a benefactor by undertaking to contribute a given sum annually or you may wish to just make a one-time gift using our online donation button provided here.
